The 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 will be accompanied by a host of electronic music talent, including DJ Diesel aka Shaquille O’Neal.

O’Neal has developed a large following as DJ Diesel, and continues to entertain fans the world over well after his Hall of Fame basketball career is over.

He has also made multiple appearances at racing events in the past, including the two most recent United States Grands Prix held at the Circuit of the Americas.

Shaq lent his musical talents to those events as well, but it is unknown if he will be involved in the driver’s celebrations for the Indy 500 as he was for his Formula 1 appearances.

Known as the Snake Pit, the infield stage hosts a large party during each running of the iconic race.  The sets begin early in the morning, and continue through the on-track action on Sunday afternoon.

The concerts on the stage are some of the crazier aspects of the Indy 500, and many fans pack the grass area inside of turn 3 to dance to some of the biggest names while cars race on the track around them.

Headlining this year’s show will be Grammy Award-nominated artist Kaskade, who will be making his second appearance at the Snake Pit after debuting in 2015.

Kaskade has recorded 12 studio albums, and has collaborated with many well-known artists such as Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez.

Subtronics will also be featured on stage, joining shortly after finishing his nationwide ANTIFRACTAL tour with some of the largest names in dance music.

John Summit and Jauz will also perform, rounding out the five artists set to take the stage his upcoming May.

Tickets to the Snake Pit are sold separate of admission tickets, although package deals are available to fans and can be purchased for $90 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
