Red Bull will take to Mount Panorama next year to tackle the circuit as part of an exciting demo event, it has been revealed.
The track, located in Bathurst, Australia, is among one of the most recognisable circuits in world racing.
One of its headline events each year is the Bathurst 12 Hour race, which is held in February.
Red Bull, off the back of one of its most successful seasons in F1, will be present at the 2023 edition of the race with the RB7 car that took it to glory in 2011.
The driver that will contest the circuit behind the wheel of the car will be announced in the new year.
Shane Rudzis, Event Director of the Bathurst 12 Hour race, said: “Oracle Red Bull Racing are the current Formula 1 World Champions.
“Just to have them at the event is a privilege, but to know that the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 car will be lapping Mount Panorama will be something else.
“This will be a spectacle like nothing we’ve seen at the 12 Hour before and takes the event to an entirely new level.
“This will be the best opportunity in 2023 for Australian F1 fans to get up close and personal with F1 machinery and an even rarer opportunity to see a Formula 1 car lap Mount Panorama.”
The demo event will take place two months prior to the Australian Grand Prix, which hosts the third round of the 2023 campaign.
