Aston Martin has become the first Formula 1 team to announce the launch date for its 2023 car, named the AMR23.
The new challenger will be unveiled on Monday, February 13th at its factory in Silverstone.
There will be a select audience in attendance at the reveal, however the show will be broadcast across social media platforms.
Aston Martin enters the 2023 campaign on the back of finishing seventh in the Constructors’ Championship.
It was tied on points with Alfa Romeo, but the Italian squad claimed the higher position in the standings on account of having a better single-race result than Aston Martin.
After a slow start to the season, Aston Martin gradually improved its pace and was a regular points finisher in the latter stage of the year.
It will run a slightly revised driver line-up following Sebastian Vettel’s retirement from F1.
In his place is two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso, who has switched from Alpine on a multi-year deal.
The Spaniard will partner Lance Stroll, who enters his fifth season with the Silverstone-based outfit.
Alonso made his Aston Martin debut at the post-season test from the Yas Marina Circuit, where he logged 97 laps behind the wheel of the 2022 car.
