Max Verstappen will lead Sunday’s field for the start of the Mexico City from the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez after securing his sixth pole position of the season on Saturday.

The Dutchman will have to keep the Mercedes duo of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton behind him on the long run to the first corner.

Local favourite Sergio Perez is fourth, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Valtteri Bottas, who performed magnificently in the Alfa Romeo.

Two penalties have been applied, with Kevin Magnussen and Lance Stroll forming the back row of the grid for the start of the race.
