Team Rosberg will field an unchanged driver line-up for the 2022 DTM season.
The squad, founded by former Formula One world champion Keke Rosberg, will field a pair of Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2 entries for the duo of Nico Mueller and Dev Gore, who have both been retained following the 2021 season.
Mueller, an Audi factory driver and championship runner-up in both 2019 and 2020, experieced a difficult campaign last year. After a promising start with a podium finish in the opening weekend at Monza, he struggled for the rest of the year and ended the season tenth in the overall standings.
“Team Rosberg and I have started a new chapter in 2021 and that isn’t finished yet. Everyone is eager and motivated, which was clear to notice during the winter,” Müller said.
“DTM is a hard-fought series with strong drivers in which we want to compete for podium results and wins on a regular basis and want to be in contention for the title, too.”
His team-mate Gore failed to score points in his rookie campaign with Team Rosberg, with a best-placed finish of twelfth at the Lausitzring. He ended the season at the bottom of the championship standings, but is confident he will bounce back during his sophomore year.
“I am feeling very well at Team Rosberg, the team has supported me a great deal in my DTM rookie season,” said the Oklahoma City native. “Surely, the second season will be a bit easier as I know the team, the car, the tracks and also the entire DTM environment. It is my goal to get closer to the front.”
