Paul di Resta, future Peugeot LMH driver and current Sky Sports F1 analyst, will return to United Autosports for the opening round at Sebring of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship, the Anglo-American team has announced.
Di Resta will be standing in for Alex Lynn, as Lynn is busy with his IMSA commitments to Chip Ganassi Racing, also holding a race at Sebring the same weekend.
Therefore, di Resta will race in the #23 Oreca 07-Gibson, returning to the WEC and United Autosports since LLe Mans 24 Hours last year, a race in which he finished fourth, alongside Lynn and Wayne Boyd.
Di Resta will be partnered by Oliver Jarvis and 15-year-old American Josh Pierson. In addition, di Resta will partner Pierson in the Asian Le Mans Series, taking place at Abu Dhabi in February.
The 1000 Miles of Sebring takes place on Friday 18th March.
