Ducati has unleashed a largely unchanged paint scheme for its Desmosedici that will challenge for supremacy in the 2022 MotoGP season in the hands of Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia.
The reigning constructors champions was set to show off its new colours in an online event next week, though elected to post a short livery unveiling on its social media pages following the opening day of the shakedown test at Sepang in Malaysia, running reserved for manufacturer test riders and rookies.
Ducati has decided to continue with the predominantly red scheme it has campaigned for the last several years, with flashes of a brighter red the only noticeable tweaks relative to its 2021 livery.
The Italian manufacturer will wade into the battle to secure its third straight constructors title this season-as well as a first riders crown since Casey Stoner’s 2007 success-with an unchanged line-up consisting of ’21 vice-champion and form man Bagnaia and two-time ’21 race winner Miller.
Ducati will reveal more information about its 2022 campaign in its still-scheduled team presentation event next Monday following the first official pre-season test in Malaysia on Friday and Saturday.
