German squad T3 Motorsports will make their North American debut next month, contesting the Rolex 24 at Daytona in the GTD category.
The team will field a single Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo under the T3 Motorsports North America banner, with its driver line-up yet to be confirmed.
The IMSA entry will be in partnership with Southern Motorsports, which races in the American TransAm series.
The two entities already had an existing relationship, as Southern Motorsports driver John Paul Southern Jr. contested the 2021 ADAC GT4 Germany series in a TR3-run Audi R8 LMS GT4.
T3 Motorsports, not to be confused with the TR3 Racing outfit that will also campaign two Lamborghinis at Daytona, notably contested the full DTM season with Lamborghini in 2021. It fielded two full-season entries for Esteban Muth and Esmee Hawkey and also raced in the ADAC GT Masters.
The Rolex 24 at Daytona takes place on January 29-30.
