Ricky Taylor leads Petit Le Mans at the four hour mark for #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05, with Loic Duval in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR in second and Mike Conway in third for Whelen Engineering Cadillaxc DPi-VR.
However, the race is currently under full course caution to recover the #7 Forty7 Motorsport Duquiene D08 LMP3, which crashed into the tyre barrier at turn 4 with Rodrigo Pflucker. The race went green but almost immediately went back under caution, with multiple cars involved on the back straight at the restart.
Until the yellow, #52 PR1 Mathiasen ORECA 07-Gibson’s Mikkel Jensen led LMP2 by a considerable amount, almost a lap ahead of James French in the #8 Tower Motorsport ORECA 07-Gibson. Third in LMP2 is WIN Autosport ORECA 07-Gibson’s Thomas Merrill, a good two laps off Jensen.
However, the caution has wiped out Jensen’s lead, and when the pitlane opened both Jensen and French pitted, with French emerging just ahead, putting him into the class lead. Merill is a further lap back.
GTLM is led by Tommy Milner in the #4 Corvette C8.R. BMW are 2-3 in class, with Philipp Eng in second in the #25 BMW Team RLL M8 GTE. Sister car #24 BMW Team RLL M8 GTE is third, with John Edwards at the wheel.
Felipe Fraga leads LMP3 for #74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320. Garrett Grist sits second in class for #30 Jr III Racing, with Oliver Askew in the Andretti Autosport Ligier JS P320 third on the road.
Finally, in GTD, the retiring Pat Long leads for #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3R. Roman de Angelis is second in the #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage, with Porsche test driver Lars Kern in the third for #9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3.
