Formula 1 has confirmed that season four of Netflix’s ‘Drive To Survive’ docuseries will be released in 2022.
The show has been a popular release for the streaming site since its initial season in 2019, which largely covered the events of the 2018 F1 world championship.
Season four will focus on the happenings of the ongoing 2021 campaign, which is headlined by the title fight between Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
An official release date has not yet been announced, however the show has traditionally been launched in the weeks prior to the start of the new season.
The opening round of 2022 is currently expected to take place in Bahrain in mid-March.
Drive To Survive has been credited with introducing new fans to Formula 1 over the last handful of years, as the sport continues to develop its digital presence.
Each season has so far featured 10 episodes around 40 minutes in length.
