The two Corvette C8.Rs from Corvette Racing outpaced the lone Porsche 911 RSR in the GTLM class in first practice at the Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park.
Jordan Taylor in the #3 Corvette set a 50.456 to go fastest, 0.037s ahead of his teammate Tommy Milner in the #4 Corvette.
#79 WeatherTech Rcing Porsche 911 RSR’s Cooper MacNeil was a further 0.340 back, rounding out the only three entries in GTLM.
In GTD, Misha Goikhberg went quickest for #19 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, but it was a very tight session, with the entire class covered by just under 8 tenths of a second, and the top four covered by just 0.045s.
Second in class was Pat Long in the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, while Roman de Angelis was third for #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
