After Porsche was strong all throughout the Prologue and topped the opening practice session on Thursday, Ferrari surpassed them on Friday morning.

James Calado led the way in the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, posting a 02:13:552 to outpace the #91 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Gianmaria Bruni in second place. Bruni was 0.242s down, while Daniel Serra sat third in the #71 Ferrari.

The #92 Porsche was fourth, with the #63 Corvette C8.R of Oliver Gavin bringing up the rear behind the top six in GTE Am and 1.6s off the pace set by Calado.

Jaxon Evans narrowly beat out Giancarlo Fisichella to lead GTE Am as the New Zealander put in a 02:14:740 in the #77 Dempsey-Proton Porsche 911 RSR-19. That was 0.052s faster than Fisichella’s #54 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.
