The Canadian Grand Prix will feature just one drag reduction zone this weekend, rather than the two zones it had last season.
The FIA has opted to drop the start/finish zone and leave just the single zone on the straight leading up to the pits, which will also be shorter than in 2011.
Detection will be after the turn 10 hairpin with activation after turn 12, 600 metres before the braking zone at the turn 13 chicane, making it some 50m shorter, a decision made by the FIA due to it being too easy to overtake last year.
