With the FIA WEC season getting under way in May with the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the initial entry list has been announced, featuring 37 cars across the four classes.

As expected, there are five hypercars entered for the class’s inaugural race, including two Glickenhaus SCG 0007 LMHs, alongside two Toyota GR010s and a single Alpine A480.

While the drivers for the Toyotas remain unchanged, the Glickenhaus Racing team will field Gustavo Menezes in the #708 and Ryan Briscoe in the #709. The remaining drivers in both cars is yet to be announced. Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão and Matthieu Vaxiviere, meanwhile, will share the Alpine.

In LMP2, the 11 full season cars are all listed, including those from the likes of Jota and United Autosports.

There are also two ‘one off’ entries from G-Drive, with two AURUS 01-Gibsons, and a single Oreca 07-Gibson from US-based PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports. LMP2 features one of two all-female driver lineups on the entry list, with former F2 driver Tatiana Calderon joining Sophia Floersch and 2019 W Series runner up Beitske Visser.

Over in GTE-Pro, five cars have been entered: two Porsches, two Ferraris, and a single Corvette. The Porsche lineup sees the addition of former LMP1 driver Neel Jani partnering Kevin Estre, while Daniel Serra joins Miguel Molina in the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. The Corvette C8.R, entered by the factory Corvette Racing team, will be piloted by Oliver Gavin and Antonio Garcia.

Finally, GTE-Am sees 13 cars entered, including the series’ second all-female line-up in the Iron Lynx Ferrari squad, with Rahel Frey, Manuela Gostner, and Michelle Gatting set to drive the car. Otherwise, there are three Aston Martin Vantage AMRs, four Ferrari 488 GTE Evos, and five Porsche 911 RSR-19s listed for the first WEC race of the year.

The race will take place behind closed doors at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps on May 1, with the pre-season test taking place the week before on April 26-27.
