AlphaTauri has become the fourth Formula 1 team to confirm the launch date for its 2021 car.
The squad’s Honda-powered AT02 will be unveiled on February 19.
McLaren is due to be the first team to launch its car, the MCL35M, on February 15, with AlphaTauri now slotting in at the end of the same week.
Alfa Romeo’s C41 is scheduled to be unveiled on February 22 while World Champions Mercedes has set a date of March 2 for its W12.
Red Bull’s junior team was rebranded for 2020 as AlphaTauri, in a nod to the company’s clothing outlet, and unveiled a new colour scheme last February.
AlphaTauri went on to challenge competitively in the midfield and caused a shock at Monza when it pulled off victory with Pierre Gasly.
It marked only AlphaTauri’s second victory, following on from its maiden triumph at the same venue 12 years previously, in its entire existence, dating back to its inception as Minardi in the 1980s.
AlpahTauri went on to finish seventh in the Constructors’ Championship.
It has retained Gasly for 2021 and promoted junior Yuki Tsunoda to replace Daniil Kvyat.
Tsunoda has been carrying out mileage in AlphaTauri’s 2019-spec at Imola and Misano in recent days in order to continue getting up to speed in Formula 1.
Pre-season testing begins on March 12 in Bahrain but it is expected that the AT02 will run beforehand as part of a filming day.
