Toyota has unveiled new images of its Le Mans Hypercar ahead of its public launch later this week.
The images were taken at a rollout and test day at Circuit Paul Ricard and give the clearest look yet at Toyota’s new challenger.
Toyota Gazoo Racing technical director Pascal Vasselon told MotorsportWeek.com in November that the test, which took place last October, exceeded expectations. Since then, the car has undergone more testing, including at Portimao last month.
Toyota will officially unveil its Hypercar, which will likely be named GR010 Hybrid, on Friday.
If true, the name change would mark a departure from the name series that started with the TS010 Group C prototype in 1991.
It is expected that all six drivers that drove for the team for during the 2019/20 season will remain for the start of the Hypercar era.
