Loic Duval has set the pace in opening practice for the DTM round in Assen.
The Frenchman topped the charts in his Audi RS5 DTM by setting a fastest time of 01:24:293.
His best effort was three-tenths quicker than championship leader Nico Müller in second place, with home hero Robin Frijns third.
Rene Rast was fourth quickest, just over half a second behind Duval but ensuring an Audi top four lockout as Lausitzring podium finisher Timo Glock in fifth place as the best BMW driver.
Glock led his BMW colleague Philipp Eng in sixth ahead of Jamie Green, while BMW runners completed the top ten. Marco Wittmann was eighth, Sheldon van der Linde ninth and Jonathan Aberdein tenth.
Lausitzring winner Lucas Auer just missed out on a top ten spot in eleventh place ahead of Ferdinand Habsburg and 2019 Assen winner Mike Rockenfeller.
Rookies Robert Kubica, Fabio Scherer and Harrison Newey brought up the rear of the timesheets.
