IMSA has released the 20-car entry list for the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR, which will only be contested by the GTLM and GTD categories.
Six cars have been entered in GTLM, while GTD sees 14 entries, the highest since the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship restarted with the Weathertech 240 at Daytona in July.
GTLM has seen no changes, with the driver line-ups for Porsche, Corvette and BMW remaining unchanged from the previous round at Road America.
GTD, meanwhile, sees the return of two entrants to the grid. The Heart of Racing, which withdrew at Road America due to a fuel cell issue, returns with the #23 Aston Martin Vantage GTE for Ian James and Roman de Angelis.
Lamborghini GTD front runner Paul Miller Racing also make their return to the grid for the first time since winning their class in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The team fields the #48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo for Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow.
