Senna started the #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson and managed to fend off the pair of Toyotas. Senna now leads by some seven seconds over the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Sebastien Buemi, with Jose Maria Lopez third in the #7 Toyota.
Nicolas Lapierre leads LMP2 after a lively opening stint in that class that briefly saw Paul di Resta lead in the #22 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson, but the Scotsman has since been dropping back as he struggles with rear-end grip. Lapierre now leads in the #42 Cool Racing ORECA, ahead of the #36 Signatech Alpine A470-Gibson.
Giedo van der Garde has moved up to third in the #29 Racing Team Nederland ORECA but the Dutchman is under investigation for an incident in which he spun round the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA of Will Stevens.

Egidio Perfetti leads GTE Am in the #56 Porsche 911 RSR for Team Project 1. Salih Yoluc has moved up to second in the #90 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage AMR, while the #98 Aston Martin of Paul Dalla Lana holds third
