Racing Point had a tough start to the 2019 season but are looking to put that behind them when the Formula 1 season resumes this weekend following a four-week break.
The outfit is still recovering from its takeover which last year saw it placed under the control of administrators before eventually being bought out and rebranded for 2019.
That's led to some setbacks, but team boss Otmar Szafnauer is hopeful this weekend will mark a turning point in the season and allow them to fight for points at every one of the remaining nine races.
"We come back from the summer break determined to build on the foundations we have laid in recent months," he said. "The new aero philosophy will continue to evolve over the next few races and we believe it’s taking us in a better direction.
"I think we can be much stronger in this second half of the season and challenge for points at all the upcoming races."
That's a view shared by driver Lance Stroll who is hoping the scheduled upgrades deliver.
"I’m feeling ready to get back to racing after the holidays. It’s been a long time since Budapest and I’m really looking forward to the second half of the season.
"I think we can be stronger in the coming races and there are more new parts coming through. We definitely won’t stop pushing because there are nine races to go and lots of opportunities to score good points."
