DTM regular Jamie Green will drive for Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler at Formula E's second in-season test following January's Marrakesh E-Prix.
Green, 36, confirmed his single-seater return on Twitter with the driver currently competing in the DTM series for Team Rosberg.
Since 2005, Green has secured a total of 16 victories in the DTM, memorably finishing in the runner-up spot in the Drivers' Championship in 2015, trailing current Mahindra Racing driver and eventual season champion Pascal Wehrlein by 19 points.
Before joining the DTM grid in 2005, Green secured the 2004 Formula 3 Euro Series title, beating Alexandre Prémat to the top spot while future Formula 1 drivers Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton and Robert Kubica were also present on the grid.
The Marrakesh in-season test will take place on January 13 and marks the penultimate in-season test of the 2018/19 campaign, the first of which took place following the Ad Driyah E-Prix where Sam Bird topped the timesheets for the Audi powered Envision Virgin Racing.
The Season Four Marrakesh test marked Formula E's first rookie test, with the Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler squad running Nico Mueller and Nyck de Vries.
Mueller will drive alongside Green in the test's 2019 running while further competitors will be announced in due course.
Following the season-opening race in Ad Diriyah which saw Antonio Felix da Costa come out on top for BMW i Andretti Motorsport, the all-electric single seater series will return on January 12 for the second race of the new campaign in Morocco.
