The 16th round of the Formula One season moves us to Suzuka, Japan. Weather for the weekend looks unsettled, with possible showers breaking out during the race.
The circuit, a favourite among drivers, is often hit by rain, and this years race looks set for a similar fate, although the chances of a heavy downpour look slim.
The forecast for Friday brings with it a 30% chance of showers during the two sessions with outbreaks of sunny spells.
Saturday will suffer from the heaviest rain, although the worst will come during the night giving the drivers a wet track to start. During the race it’s expected that the track will dry-out as the Sun breaks through the clouds, however, the chance of further showers remains a possibility – which could lead to some decisive strategies.
