Ferrari and Mercedes have given differing views on Formula 1's proposed 2021 concept car, which was unveiled by Ross Brawn on Friday in Singapore.
Three concepts were shown off, all of which have been designed to look more aesthetically pleasing whilst reducing the impact of so-called 'dirty air'.
Whilst Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff reacted postively to the concepts, Ferrari were less than impressed.
"This shit looks dope [as fuck],” Hamilton wrote on social media. "I'm [definitely] gonna be driving if cars look like this… just please bring a V12 or V10 back."
Wolff added: "The car looks modern and cool. The halo is more aesthetically pleasing than it was before. So if that is the regulations for 2021, only from an aesthetic point of view, count me in," he told Sky Sports.
But Maurizio Arrivabene said his engineers weren't impressed by the designs and compared them to "an old Champ Car".
"I was looking at the car presented a couple of days ago by Ross. It's a good exercise.
"I was asking our engineers what they thought about it," he added. "They said it's a bit underwhelming in their opinion and it looks like an old Champ Car, but it's [just] an exercise."
