Mercedes‘ Lewis Hamilton took top billing in FP1 for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix with a time of 1:35.001s.
Hamilton cleared the field by 0.396s with his Mercedes team-mate George Russell best of the rest at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
McLaren’s Lando Norris went third quickest, nine-tenths down with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen rounding out the top five.
Verstappen split the two Ferraris as Carlos Sainz went sixth fastest, one place ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso.
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, Alpine’s Pierre Gasly and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez rounded out the top-10.
