Envision Racing has launched its livery for the upcoming 11th season of the FIA Formula E World Championship.
The British squad, a customer of Jaguar TCS Racing, has stuck to its green-and-blue colour scheme, that is now synonymous with the team that took the Teams’ Championship in Season 9.
The team’s title defence did not go according to plan in Season 10, with a mid-part of the campaign blighted by poor results, but a strong finish will no doubt leave it buoyed with Season 11 now just over a month away.
In a statement released by the team, Team Principal Sylvain Filippi said: “We are highly motivated for the start of Season 11, which is fast approaching. The new GEN3 Evo car unlocks so much potential, and will no doubt produce even more thrilling and close racing.”
The team has also chosen to stick with its Season 10 driver line-up of Sebastien Buemi and Robin Frijns, the former saying: “After my first taste driving the GEN3 Evo, I’m very impressed with the all-wheel drive, and think it will add another new exciting element to Formula E racing.
“The new bodywork looks great, and even better in our green livery, and I am looking forward to getting out on track to kick start Season 11.”
Frijns said: “The new GEN3 Evo should produce some of the most exciting and close racing we have ever had in Formula E. From the testing we’ve done so far, I really enjoy driving the new car and hope we can have a strong year and challenge for trophies.”
