McLaren’s Lando Norris took pole position for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.
The Briton avenged his deficit to his rivals in Saturday’s Sprint race to set a benchmark of 1:32.330s.
Norris’ title rival Max Verstappen qualified his Red Bull in second, 0.031s back.
Third and fourth went to the Ferrari duo, with Carlos Sainz leading the Scuderia’s efforts ahead of Charles Leclerc.
McLaren’s Oscar Piastri rounded out the top five with Mercedes’ George Russell in sixth after a late crash in Q3.

Pierre Gasly impressed for Alpine in seventh, ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Haas’ Kevin Magnussen.
Sergio Perez failed to set a representative time and finished 10th.
