Christian Mansell managed to clinch Formula 3 pole position around the Barcelona circuit as his team achieved an impressible double top three result with Nikola Tsolov sitting in third
Formula 3 returned to a well-known track by teams and drivers, as they recently ran around the Barcelona track for in-season testing.
Martinius Stenshorne from Hitech Pulse-Eight was fastest in Practice earlier on the day. The McLaren junior driver set a 1:28.774 to end up fastest across the field.
Laurens Van Hoepen took the fastest time after the first run around the track, with Leonardo Fornaroli splitting him and his teammate Christian Mansell

In the opening laps of the second stint, Browning took first place followed by Fornaroli, who managed to improve his lap as
Home Hero Mari Boya, who suffered an incident that saw him colliding with the walls during practice was down in the 18th. He jumped to second during his second run just 6 milliseconds away from provisional pole position.
Teammate Oliver Goethe followed him closely sitting in fourth with Montoya down to 17th for Campos Racing on home soil.
With 10 minutes to go, the top five were split in less than one tenth and the whole field by less than a second.
At the end of the second round, Dino Beganovic got his time deleted over a track limits infringement at Turn 9 and got demoted to 29th.
With 7 minutes to go, everyone returned to the track after visiting the pitlane for his last and definitive qualifying push laps.
Browning managed to improve his own time during the first push of the stint, but Lindblad managed to improve his time to jump into the provisional pole.
Tsolov had a blaster lap that put him in the front row just 3 milliseconds away from pole positions.
Nonetheless, it was Christian Mansell who took the fastest time shortly with 1:30 minutes to go after an impressive flying lap.
No one could push for another lap, granting the pole position to Mansell. ART managed to get two cars in the top three with Alpine junior Tsolov in third. Lindblad split the ART drivers in the second position.
Championship contender Beganovic will start from the 15th after he was unable to put together a good enough lap after his initial time got deleted.
Luke Browning finished in fourth, with Goethe fifth and leading the way for Campos and Fornaroli in sixth.
Martin Stenshorne, Van Hoepen, and Dunne completed the top 10, with local driver Mari Boya in 11th.
