The most successful Sahara Force India car in the team's history, the VJM10, has been officially consigned to the history books and it will now grace the reception of Force India's Silverstone headquarters.
In an emotional moment, bringing up memories of happy points-scoring Sundays and of performances that brought the team to the biggest championship tally in their history. As work behind the scenes continues on its successor, the crew assembled in the lobby of the factory to build the VJM10 one final time.
In less than one hour the creation, the very specimen used by Checo Perez in the 2017 season, was sent off into a happy retirement, never to turn a wheel in anger again.
