Tag Heuer Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein took top slot in the final practice session ahead of today’s second race of the Berlin E-Prix double-header.
Wehrlein, who was fifth in yesterday’s race, set a time of 1:01.922s, just four one hundredths of a second ahead of Nick Cassidy in second, the Kiwi looking to capitalise on his sensational Saturday victory.
Stoffel Vandoorne, who qualified on the front row yesterday, was third, with Jehan Daruvala – who showed moments of brilliance yesterday before a late crash dropped him down the order – fourth, ahead of team-mate Max Günther, who is also looking to bounce back after crashing out in race one.
Cassidy’s team-mate Mitch Evans was sixth fastest, with Jake Dennis – who looked more than capable of winning on Saturday before a late puncture ruined his race – seventh. Jean-Éric Vergne, Antonio Felix da Costa and Dan Ticktum rounded-up the top 10, just over three tenths of a second covering all 10 drivers.
