Sergey Sirotkin is set to make another practice outing with Renault during the opening session for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Sirotkin, 22, has been affiliated with Renault since the start of 2016, and has participated in six free practice sessions, most recently in Austria this year, alongside test outings.
Sirotkin will be one of four Friday drivers in action at Sepang, with Charles Leclerc (Sauber), Sean Gelael (Toro Rosso) and Antonio Giovinazzi (Haas) also scheduled to drive.
Ferrari-backed F2 leader Leclerc participated in four sessions with Haas last season and his run at Sepang, in place of Marcus Ericsson, is the first of four planned outings with the Swiss squad.
Leclerc, who has also received test runs with Ferrari, is a strong contender for a race seat at Sauber next year.
Gelael will again replace Carlos Sainz Jr. at Toro Rosso, a repeat of the scenario in Singapore, while Giovinazzi will climb back into the Haas VF-17, before Kevin Magnussen takes over for the remainder of the weekend.
Pierre Gasly is also set for his first taste of the Toro Rosso STR12, as he prepares for his Formula 1 debut as a replacement for Daniil Kvyat.
Gasly has piloted Red Bull’s RB13 during two days of in-season testing this year but has yet to sample the junior team’s 2017 car.
