Williams has confirmed that Felipe Massa has been given the green light to compete at this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix.
Massa complained of feeling dizzy after Friday practice in Hungary and withdrew after his symptoms persisted on Saturday morning.
Massa was replaced by reserve driver Paul di Resta for the remainder of the weekend’s action, and did not participate in the post-race test as planned, in order to assist his recovery.
Massa was required to undertake a mandatory medical check-up at Spa-Francorchamps on Thursday and he has been cleared to resume his campaign with Williams.
