Andre Lotterer leads the Qatar 1812km at the halfway mark, with the #6 Porsche 963 driver 30 seconds ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne in the #93 Peugeot 9X8.

Going into the fourth hour and the gap between Estre, in the leading #6 Porsche, and Jensen in the second-placed #93 Peugeot, stood at around 30 seconds. The two were lapping the Losail circuit at very similar pace, with neither driver either pulling away or catching.

At the next pitstop cycle, Estre pitted to hand the car over to teammate Lotterer, while a while laps later Jensen did the same, handing his Peugeot over to Vergne.

As the stint elapsed, the Frenchman began to catch the three-times Le Mans winner, with the gap coming down at one point to 22 seconds. This has since opened back up to 26 seconds, as a result of pitstops and traffic, with both drivers pushing.

Third is Lotterer’s factory Porsche teammate Fred Makowiecki in the #5 Porsche 963, around 20 seconds back from Vergne.

Fourth is Callum Ilott in the #12 JOTA Porsche 963, while Earl Bamber lies fifth in the #2 Cadillac V-Series.R.

In the lead of LMGT3 is Davide Rigon, in the #54 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3. Alex Malykhin, who has led much of the race onboard the #92 Manthey Pure Rxcing Porsche 911 GT3.R, is second, with Alessio Rovera third in the sister #55 AF Corse Ferrari.

However, none of these cars have stopped, with Alex Riberas, behind the wheel of the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, leading the cars who have stopped, in fifth. His teammate Daniel Mancinelli took the lead off Malykhin as the race approached the halfway mark, but the Italian pitted to hand over to Riberas.

Rigon has a seven second lead to Malykhin, with the Porsche driver a gap of around 10 seconds to Rovera behind. Valentino Rossi is fourth in the #46 WRT BMW M4 GT3, with Riberas fifth.
