Four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel has picked up the Driver of the Day award for the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix.
It is the fourth time he has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ by the F1 fans this season, after Australia, Bahrain and Spain.
The German driver started in second place behind Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen and settled into the position at the start.
But, Vettel went longer on his first stint on the ultra-soft tyres, putting in several quick laps to emerge from the pits ahead of Raikkonen.
From there, he opened up a comfortable lead, which was cut by a late safety car. However, he managed to fend off the pack to win.
It was his third victory of the 2017 season and second win around the Circuit de Monaco, with Vettel then being voted the best driver of the race by fans.
