Aston Martin has announced it will launch its 2024 Formula 1 challenger on February 12.
The announcement was relayed across social media and to the team’s exclusive I/AM fan members club, who received communication of the launch via email.
The unveiling will take place at the team’s recently reinvigorated Silverstone headquarters.
Aston Martin becomes the fourth team to announce its 2024 season launch date.
As it stands, Williams and Sauber will be the first to launch, with both teams opting to kick start their 2024 seasons in an official capacity on February 5, with Williams opting for a New York City event and Sauber going for a London-based unveiling.
Ferrari is the other outfit that has announced its 2024 launch, which will take place a day after Aston Martin on February 13.
Aston Martin had a mixed campaign throughout 2023 as the team jumped from midfield runners in 2022 to contenders toward the front of the grid at the start of last year.
The beginning of the campaign saw the team emerge as Red Bull’s closest rivals, with a rejuvenated Fernando Alonso achieving six podium results in the first eight races.
However, a series of unsuccessful upgrades saw the Silverstone-based outfit fall back in the development race and the team ultimately landed fifth in the final Constructors’ standings with 280 points.
This was still a dramatic improvement over 2022 when Aston Martin finished seventh in the table with 55 points.
