Mercedes' 2017 Formula 1 car, the W08 EQ Power+, has broken cover at a windy Silverstone, with Lewis Hamilton taking the car on-track as part of a filming day.
Mercedes has dominated Formula 1 since V6 power units were introduced at the start of 2014, taking 51 wins and 56 pole positions from 59 races.
Lewis Hamilton claimed the 2014 and 2015 titles, while Nico Rosberg triumphed in 2016, before retiring from the sport just five days later.
This year therefore marks the first change in Mercedes’ driver line-up since 2012/13, with Valtteri Bottas joining from Williams to partner Hamilton.
Mercedes will officially present its W08 at lunchtime, before further track action is planned this afternoon.
The W08 will then be tested in full when group running begins at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Monday.
