Mercedes has released a teaser of its 2017 Formula 1 challenger, the W08 Hybrid, ahead of its launch at Silverstone on Thursday.
The reigning World Champions published a handful of images, with the most striking being the team’s decision to eschew the ‘thumb nose’ design on the front of the car.
Rivals Williams, Renault and Sauber – the only teams to have fully unveiled their respective machines – have all taken the route of using the thumb nose.
Mercedes will take the wraps off the W08 Hybrid at the home of the British Grand Prix on Thursday lunchtime.
Lewis Hamilton and new recruit Valtteri Bottas are then set to conduct a filming day, permitted under the Formula 1 regulations.
Prior to Mercedes' launch, Force India will unveil its VJM10 later today (Wednesday), also at Silverstone.
