The Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) has added two new juniors to its programme for 2017, including Enzo Fittipaldi, grandson of 1972 and 1974 Formula 1 champion Emerson, as well as New Zealand's Marcus Armstrong.
The pair took part in an evaluation test day at Fiorano in November and impressed Ferrari.
15-year-old Fittipaldi made his motorsport debut this year in the Ginetta Junior Championship, finishing 18th overall with a best finish of eighth place at Croft Circuit with Douglas Motorsport.
The Brazilian has also participated in various karting championships in the United States, including the Rotax Grand Nationals Micromax and the Florida Winter Tour in 2015.
Armstrong, 16-years-old, has spent the last two years racing in the European Karting Series as well as outings in both Formula Renault 2.0 and BRDC F3.
The two youngsters join existing FDA recruitsCharles Leclerc, Antonio Fuoco, Giuliano Alesi and Guan Yu Zhou.
