Red Bull Racing junior and GP2 front-runner Pierre Gasly completed 277 laps at Pirelli’s three-day tyre test at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The test in Abu Dhabi took place from the 14-16 October, with Red Bull using a modified version of its 2015 car to gather data on next year’s tyres.
Widths of the F1 2017 tyres will increase by 25% over the current size, with Pirelli completing an extensive test programme before next season.
Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull are helping Pirelli develop the tyres, with the former completing a two-day test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya earlier this week.
Gasly’s test at the Yas Marina Circuit focused on the dry-weather tyres, completing 81 laps on day one.
He then managed 103 laps for Red Bull and Pirelli on day two, before concluding on the third and final day with 93 laps to bring the total for the test to 277.
Red Bull will return to Abu Dhabi at the start of November for a dry-weather, two-day test with Pirelli.
