Jenson Button has been taken to hospital for a check-up after complaining of eye irritation during second practice for the German Grand Prix.
The British driver finished the session in eighth place, with his McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso in tenth.
He only managed 16 laps after reporting discomfort over team radio during the afternoon practice session.
McLaren confirmed on Twitter that Button has been taken to Mannheim hospital for a precautionary check-up.
Jenson complained of an eye irritation during FP2, and has gone to Mannheim hospital to have a precautionary check-up.
