Formula 1’s tyre supplier Pirelli has announced the compounds it will take to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for the Mexican Grand Prix.
The medium, soft and super-soft compounds will be used at October's race in Mexico City, which returned to the F1 calendar last year.
One set of the soft and one set of the medium tyre must be made available for the Mexican GP, with at least one of those being used.
Meanwhile one set of the super-soft tyre must be set aside for Q3. It will be returned to Pirelli after the session.
The Mexican GP’s tyre nominations will be the 11th time this combination of compounds has been used in the F1 2016 season.
Pirelli must nominate the compounds for fly-away races 14 weeks beforehand, while the European race deadline is eight weeks.
