Force India's Sergio Perez has won the Driver of the Day award for the European Grand Prix, in which he secured his second podium finish of the season in third.
The Mexican driver qualified second for the race but started seventh after a five-place grid penalty was applied following a gearbox change on Saturday evening, as a result of his final practice crash.
He drove brilliantly to climb up the order and eventually finish ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, who he overtook on the final lap of the race.
It's the second time this season Perez has won the award – which is fan voted – with the other for his drive in Monaco in which he also finished third.
