Arden driver Jimmy Eriksson has been handed a grid penalty for the next GP2 round in Austria.
The Swedish driver was an early retirement from the Baku sprint race on Sunday morning after contact with Racing Engineering's Jordan King at Turn 1 on lap eight.
King was able to continue and went on to finish fourth, while Eriksson retired on the spot due to damage.
The stewards investigated the contact after the second race around the Baku City Circuit, deeming Eriksson was at fault.
Eriksson was given a three-place grid penalty for the Austria feature race at the Red Bull Ring.
ART Grand Prix's Nobuharu Matsushita picked up a one-round ban after his erratic driving on the restarts during the sprint race.
Prema Racing's Antonio Giovinazzi doubled up and took a clean sweep of GP2 wins in Baku, finishing first in both the feature and sprint races.
