Pirelli has lowered the minimum tyre pressures for final practice and qualifying for the European Grand Prix after drivers and teams labelled them ridiculous on Friday.
The tyre supplier mandated a minimum pressure of 22psi for the front and rear tyres – the highest of the season – as it had no data to go by, with Baku a new addition to the calendar.
Following data analysis on Friday afternoon, Pirelli agreed that its limit was too conservative and has reduced the minimum pressures for the rear tyres to 21psi for Saturday's running.
That limit will remain in place for Sunday's race if there are no problems on Saturday, according to Pirelli.
