Carlos Sainz holds the advantage ahead of qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix after going fastest in the final practice session at Monza.
The Ferrari driver topped the times in front of the Tifosi, clocking a 1:20.912. Max Verstappen sat second, just 0.086s adrift. Lewis Hamilton was third fastest although half-a-second off the pace set by Sainz and Verstappen.
Both Haas drivers look to be in for a solid qualifying performance with both drivers breaking into the top ten in FP3.
Sergio Perez will be on the back foot heading into qualifying this afternoon after his running was limited by an issue with his power unit.
With expectations high for McLaren this weekend, the team will hope that the post-FP3 order doesn’t reflect the team’s chances in qualifying and the race.
