Sebastian Vettel put in the quickest time for Ferrari in final practice for the 2016 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.
The German driver moved to the front on the ultra-soft tyre towards the end of the session with a 1:14.650, finishing just 0.018 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
The Mercedes driver set the pace early on before dropping back. A late fast lap saw him just miss out on the top spot in FP3. Nico Rosberg was a further tenth down in third.
Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen were the leaders at the mid-way point but failed to find a clear run on their fast ultra-soft laps. Verstappen even suffered a touch with the wall at Massenet but he was able to continue.
Daniil Kvyat and Carlos Sainz Jr. were closely matched in sixth and seventh, ahead of Sergio Perez – who was one of several drivers to take to the Saint Devote escape road – and Kimi Raikkonen.
Nico Hulkenberg completed the top 10, with Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button and Valtteri Bottas next up.
Esteban Gutierrez was 15th for Haas. Kevin Magnussen was 16th despite going off at the first corner late on and stopping his car.
Romain Grosjean, Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson were 17th, 18th and 19th. Jolyon Palmer spun and brushed the wall at the Swimming Pool chicane but despite some rear wing damage, he was able to return to the track later in the session.
The Manor duo of Pascal Wehrlein and Rio Haryanto completed the results.
