Ferrari has spent the most engine tokens of the four power unit manufacturers over the winter break, prior to this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix.
Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault and Honda each have 32 development tokens to use on improving their 1.6 litre V6 Turbo power units throughout the year.
All areas of the engine are open for development but restrictions are in place on how many tokens can be spent on different parts of the power unit.
The FIA has confirmed the token spending of each power unit manufacturer, with Ferrari using 23 of its 32 ahead of the 2016 season opener.
Mercedes has used 19, with Honda spending one less and Renault using the least, with 25 remaining to utilise during the year.
