Mixed conditions affected Saturday afternoon’s qualifying session on the streets of Toronto, and it was Christian Lundgaard that mastered the wet course to take his second pole of the system.
A brief but heavy rain shower moved over the track halfway through qualifying, providing a helping of chaos around the already tricky city streets.
The second round in particular was affected heavily by the weather, with multiple drivers sliding off and getting penalized for impeding other drivers.

Only Graham Rahal hit the wall, however, and even then only his front wing needed to be replaced.
The 85-lap race from the tricky streets is scheduled for 1:45 PM Eastern Time, when intermittent rain showers are in the forecast once again.
