Renault has confirmed its driver line-up for the 2016 season, following its return as a works team since taking over the Lotus outfit, during a launch event on Wednesday.
As widely reported, former McLaren driver Kevin Magnussen will partner the already confirmed Jolyon Palmer, whilst Mercedes DTM reserve and current GP3 champion, Esteban Ocon, will take up a reserve role with the French outfit.
The team had a contract in place with Pastor Maldonado for the '16 season, but his personal sponsor PDVSA failed to meet its financial obligations. The team therefore chose to end its deal with the Venezuelan and began negotiations with Magnussen as a potential replacement.
A deal was agreed just days ago and the Dane was officially unveiled on Wednesday alongside Palmer and Ocon.
