The World Motor Sport Council has confirmed what the 2016 Formula 1 calendar will look like following a meeting in Paris on Wednesday.
As previously reported, Australia remains the season opener, but will now take place two weeks earlier on March 20th, allowing for a longer summer break which had been cut from four to two weeks on the provisional calendar released earlier this year.
Russia will move to the front of the calendar, taking place between China and the Spanish Grand Prix.
The newest race on the calendar, Azerbaijan, will have a mid-June slot before the Austrian GP, whilst Malaysia slots in after Singapore and before Japan.
The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi on November 27, meaning the 2016 season will be the longest in history.
