Giedo van der Garde has no interest in racing for the Manor Grand Prix Team according to his manager, despite there having been contact.
Manor reportedly contacted Van der Garde in a bid to hire an experienced driver to replace Roberto Merhi come the summer break, when the team finally debuts its 2015 car.
However the Dutchman, who was keen to race this season with Sauber, has now turned his attention to securing a DTM drive for 2016.
“We are aware that Manor are looking for an experienced driver,” his manager told GPUpdate. “They have contacted us, but this is not something we are working on.
“We are fully focused on 2016,” he added. “We are looking at DTM and LMP1 and will be visiting the DTM next week.”
